Nelson Vargas

Owner/Instructor/Coach

Nelson Vargas was born and raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico. He played baseball at Huron (Si Tanka) University in Huron, SD and was a NAIA honorable mention All-American in 2005, as well as a DAC10 2nd team in 2004 and 1st team in 2005.

2018 was a big year. We became GRSD FL West Coast Showcase Team for our 16u and 18u squads. We saw great success on the field, and many of our players received scholarship offers. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Game Ready.

In 2019, Coach Vargas invested more time and effort in developing clinics for local Little League players. Our vision is to see them become the next generation of upper-level players in our area.

In 2020, we are adding an 11U and 13U travel ball squad to develop a new generation of competitive players. We look forward to the success and development of these new teams.
